Greetings Collaborators! Read on a round-up of activity since our last message... Health Fair Report: The event was very successful, lots of attendance and activity - We had food for 300 & ran out!. The Marshallese interpreters did a great job, we fostered relationships with the community, learned some things we would do differently next time and even had some folks enroll for the health care plan. Happy Friday, Collaborators! Fiscal Agent: As reported last week, ChildStrive has agreed to be our Fiscal Agent with Sarah Pulliam filling that role in the Anchor Circle. We are in the process of making the role official. Thanks for Sarah and ChildStrive! Happy Friday, Collaborators! Zonta grant: Fast on the heels of the DCYF grant submission, we have submitted a grant to the Zonta Club! Felicia, in her role as Finance Workgroup Lead is on a roll – pun intended :) She had the grant in good shape when Melissa, in her role as Backbone, applied her legendary communication and marketing skills to the task. The result was a very strong submission – thanks to both! If you know any members of the Zonta Club, please let them know about our work.
