Why the weird name?

Our current name — CityMatch/NEAR Collaborative — reflects our origins. CityMatCH, a national organization provided funding and training that got the collaborative started. Once established, a partnership with the NEAR (Neuroscience, Epigenetics, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and Resilience) collaborative followed.
